Intraoral cameras have been the most successful tool in regards to increasing patient communication and education.
Axiom Dental Group incorporates intraoral camera images as part of dental examinations and diagnosis.
An intraoral camera allows us to:
- Show precisely and clearly what we see in the mouth
- Improve communication and education
- Record before and after images
- Create a permanent digital record of the condition
- Establish trust
- Early detection and treatment of the dental condition
Intraoral Cameras (IOCs) were first introduced in 1989 and are now used by over 80,000 dental offices in North America. They are used to build patients’ trust through visual communication. While other digital SLR cameras are useful, IOCs are best used chairside to show the patient a clear picture of the inside of their mouth, allowing the dentist to consult them on various treatment options, and save the images directly to a patient’s file.
“A picture is worth a thousand words”. Come see what is inside your mouth!
